PEERS® Program
acclaimed social skills program designed to support adolescents (13-17 year olds) and young adults.
It is an evidence-based 14-16 week intervention program focusing on social skills for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression and other social challenges.
Please note that the adolescents program is 14 weeks in length and the young adult program is 16 weeks in length.
Each week a different skill is discussed and supported in a structured learning environment that is accompanied with home practice targets and fun social activities.
Parents/primary caregivers/support persons take on an active role as a social coach to aid in helping the participant in learning and practicing these acquired skills.
They also get specialized coaching from the Speech Language Pathologist with individualized attention and support.
